Shasta RV Barn Kit Sizes and Pricing
DC Structures offers rustic RV barns for you to purchase and make your own. The Shasta remains one of the company’s top-selling kits, and there are four main options to choose from for anyone who wants to build their own.
Four main kit sizes are available:
42’ x 42’ size
3,528 square foot
The 42’ model offers a main level that is wide-open. Owners can keep this floor as a garage or workshop, but it’s easy to transform the area into additional residential space, too. Upstairs, you’ll find the living quarters and space for three bedrooms.
You can also transform some of the space into a den, office or extra storage space.
A 196-square-foot deck is available.
In total, there are two bathrooms on the upper level, three bedrooms, a laundry room, a kitchen, a living room and a dining room.
42’ x 56’ size
4,704 square foot
The 56’ model is very similar to the last, but this model has 2,352 square feet of space upstairs in a three-bedroom apartment. You’ll also enjoy the same large deck area and open floor plan on the bottom level.
Turn the bottom level into a car or RV garage – there’s more than enough space.
42’ x 70’ size
5,880 square foot
If you need a larger space, the 70’ floor plan has a beautiful cupola above the upstairs kitchen to allow natural light to flood the space. The dining room opens to your spacious desk, and you even get a massive pantry connected to the open kitchen.
42’ x 84’ size
7,056 square foot
Finally, the 84’ is the largest Shasta available, with a wide-open main level, four bedrooms upstairs, a bonus room, ideal for a game room or home theater, large rooms and a cupola above the kitchen island.
Naturally, the dining room has doors leading to the large deck, which you can see from the kitchen.
Shasta kits are designed to each come with a 14’ drive-through garage and enough room for trucks, horses, tractors and more. The second level has beautiful vaulted ceilings and a spacious apartment.
Use the home as a vacation house, rent it out or live in the home full-time.
Post and beam construction is used throughout each home to add stability and durability. Douglas fir posts and glulam beams are used.
